Hotel Charles can be found at Hegyalja út 23. The Hotel is a modern 6 floor building on the side of Gellért hill, 2 km far from the city center, easily reached by 4 bus lines. The hotel can accomodate 150 people. There are 45 comfortable Standard studios and 20 which belong to the Deluxe category satisfying all needs. The majority are for two people (with extra beds) but there are also a few 3 and 4 bed apartments.


Reception: The reception (cash desk) is available 24 hours. Guests are offered the following services: information, Internet services, safe, photocopying, fax, laundry cleaning, dry-cleaning, postcards, stamps, public transport tickets, arrangement and sale of city tour programs, whole day excursions and ship journeys.
At the reception desk they speak: English, German, Italian, French, Russian, Bulgarian, Serbian

Standard studio: The studio has an around of 32 m2. The room has international telephone line and television set. The Hotel has a dish antenna system of its own, so Hungarian programs, and English, German, Italian, Russian, French, and Spanish programs are available as well. The kitchen is equipped with plates, dishes, cutlery, glasses, and the refrigerator which server as a minibar as well.

Deluxe studio: They seems much more spacious than standard rooms, because the kitchen, the hall and the room are in a single air-space. The kitchens and bathrooms of executive rooms were created using the highest quality materials and they satisfy every demand. The rooms are decorated with the collage pictures of painter Tamás Ajtai.

The price of the studios include the cleaning, and the change of towels every second day and the change of sheets every fourth day, the use of electricity, water, TV., the Value Added Tax., and breakfast.

The hotel has got its own car garage which can be used at EUR 8/day/car.

Room check in time: 10am, Room check out time: 12pm

Our children policy: Children under 6 stay free of charge of no extra bed is needed, children between 6-12 enjoy EUR 5 price cut/night.

Restaurant: The Hotel's János Restaurant is open every day from 12-24. It is offer traditional Hungarian dishes and international culinary specialties. Half board or full board available. Breakfast is served from 7 AM to 10 AM.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings for 1-6 days: Reservations may be cancelled up to midnight on the day prior to arrival, otherwise 1 night of accommodation is to be charged by the hotel.

Bookings for 7-21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival, otherwise 2 nights of accommodation are to be charged by the hotel.

Bookings longer than 21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival, otherwise 7 nights of accommodation are to be charged by the hotel.

How to get to the Hotel:

IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE OR TRAIN:
You can order a taxi with the help of our Hotel Transfer form. This large airconditioned private taxi takes you straight to the hotel at a fix price. You can also use the Minibus Service at the airport or at the train station. It is a little cheaper but you have to wait for a while to get the right bus and it might go to other hotels before yours.

The Charles Hotel has excellent traffic. The downtown or the subway can be reached with a 3-minute ride on bus no.8, 78 or 112, arriving every five minutes almost the entire day. Guest arriving from highways M1-M7 can reach the hotel in 2-4 minutes from the boundary of the city.
