In 1928 at the corner of the 43rd Street and Lennox Avenue in New York was founded the world famous club, the Cotton Club. At the corner of Weiner Leo and Jókai Street one of Budapest’s biggest show place is awaiting its guests. The idea was to bring back the atmosphere of the last century.

The guests can decide where they would like to go upon entering the hall: The Café, the House, the Restaurant, the Cigar Salon, the Game room, and the splendour of the place, the Orpheum stage all open from here.

The Café has opened to the public since December 2002. Its elegant furnishing matches with the ambience of the other rooms. Originally it seats 60 persons, but it is possible to hold functions for as many as 150 persons. The place can be used for Cocktail parties, management trainings or even dance halls. In the back of the Café the guests of the Cotton House have their breakfast.
There is also a Restaurant attached to the Café. The new restaurant of the Cotton Club is awaiting its guests with similar dishes and with the same level of service.

Leaving the Café let’s visit the Cotton House. Elevator leads up to the floor. Right now the hotel has 13 rooms it can house 28-30 persons. The rooms reflect the style of the 20’s and 30’s and are named after famous personalities. The design and the atmosphere of the chandelier, the bracket lamp and the telephone remind of the old times. The rooms according to the needs of the 21st century are equipped with cable television, telephone, minibar, and air-conditioning. The rooms can be transformed into suites recommended for longer stay or families. In the rooms jacuzzi makes bathing enjoyable. The sauna and the mini hydro whirlpool of the Cotton Aqua Fitness room offer also remarkable leisure. The level of customer service and rates of the Cotton House are similar to the competitors. The room rate includes buffet breakfast, free entrance to the Orpheum hall and also free use of Cotton Aqua Fitness room for the first time.
Once you have experienced the comfort offered by the hotel, you will surely return.

Downstairs a totally different atmosphere is waiting for those who want to relax and enjoy. A great selection of special wines can be found on the right. Opposite, in the aquarium there is a display of seafood that can be served upon request. The restaurant seats 120 persons. For groups in the back of the restaurant live kitchen offers tasty meat grilled on the splits. Our guests can prepare their own salads from our salad bar. Selecting from the wide range of the dishes can be difficult. There is live music during dinner from the musicians of the Orpheum. It is for entertainment and also to draw attention to the coming variety show.

The Orpheum Stage and the Restaurant lead to the ambulatory. This is an ideal place for couples, business partners who want peace and quite. Along the hallway display cabinets with beautiful jewelry and branded drinks entertain the eyes.

Before entering the Orpheum it is recommended to spend some time in the Cigar Salon, where you can get back to the feeling of 1920’s of America. In the humidor there are different types of branded cigars waiting for their owners. Its cigar safes are named and can be rented for different periods. The Cigar Salon is suitable for small groups and private parties.

The Orpheum can seat 120 persons. Each table has a good view of the stage. Several times a week the Cotton Club offers different shows which are highlighted with the performance of the fire-eater. On the program besides the typical American revues, Hungarian shows, operettas, Latin-American songs and famous movie soundtracks can be found.
In the revue show the dancers wearing period dresses are presenting a fantastic show including Charleston, Swing, and Khan-khan. Many popular stars performed in the Orpheum stage such as: Carol Cass, Tátrai Tibor and Szűcs Antal Gábor, Bódy Magdi, Horváth Charlie, St. Martin, Antal Imre, Vágó István, Karácsony János, Gerendás Péter, Demjén Ferenc and Koltai Róbert are among the talk-show guests who have appeared on the stage. For those guests who have a desire to drink the bar offers cocktails and other fancy drinks. After the show the dance floor is for the guests. The band of the House guarantees outstanding music.

The gamblers can devote their time to card games and roulette in the Game room. Then the doors close and from that time on our guests can order drinks or even food on the phone.

Once somebody has been here we can almost guarantee he will return and will tell his friends about our place where anyone can spend a fantastic and enjoyable time.

The below mentioned prices include the American buffet breakfast in the Cotton Café, a welcome drink to our guests, free first session to the Cotton Club Orpheum hall (variety show, concerts, live music, dance and many more), free first session in the Cotton Fitness (infra sauna, mini hydro whirlpool).

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings for 1-6 days: Reservations may be cancelled up to midnight on the day prior to arrival, otherwise 1 night of accommodation is to be charged.

Bookings for 7-21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival, otherwise 2 nights of accommodation are to be charged.

Bookings longer than 21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival, otherwise 7 nights of accommodation are to be charged.

How to get to the Hotel:

IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE OR TRAIN:
You can order a taxi with the help of our Hotel Transfer form. This large airconditioned private taxi takes you straight to the hotel at a fix price. You can also use the Minibus Service at the airport or at the train station. It is a little cheaper but you have to wait for a while to get the right bus and it might go to other hotels before yours.
