Hotel Margitsziget is situated on the green Margaret island in the middle of Budapest.

The Danube sorrounds the 2.5 km long island and includes an area of around 85 hectares. dominated by clear fresh air and silence. It is a hundred-year-old park in the heart of the city. The National Swimming Pool Complex is just right in the ’next-door’ provides free access for the hotel visitors in the entire year.

The hotel is convenient not only for relaxing and sports but for events, conferences, courses and also for business negotiations.

The hotel has 11 rooms. 7 double/single and 4 apartements out of this with a kitchen in one of them. Bath or shower, phone, television, refrigerator and minibar (on demand) are in the rooms. The conference hall is ideal for the meeting of 30-35 people.

The hotel accepts HUF for payment only.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings for 1-6 days: Reservations may be cancelled up to midnight on the day prior to arrival, otherwise 1 night of accommodation is to be charged by the hotel.

Bookings for 7-21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival, otherwise 2 nights of accommodation are to be charged by the hotel.

Bookings longer than 21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival, otherwise 7 nights of accommodation are to be charged by the hotel.

How to get to the Hotel:

IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE OR TRAIN:
You can order a taxi with the help of our Hotel Transfer form. This large airconditioned private taxi takes you straight to the hotel at a fix price. You can also use the Minibus Service at the airport or at the train station. It is a little cheaper but you have to wait for a while to get the right bus and it might go to other hotels before yours.
