The Hotel Gellért is one of the most traditional Hotels in Budapest and Hungary. City hotel and a spa-hotel in one building.

The Hotel was erected on the right bank of the river Danube between 1916 and 1918 until opening to the public on September 26th 1918, and has maintained the highest recognition ever since. The lobby on the ground floor has a pleasant atmosphere added with fine food supplied in the brasserie. The coffee shop and the drink bar offers excellent coffee and lots of cakes and offer sweets to the guests.
The hotel has good potentialities for organising conferences and banquets. All of its six banquet-halls are situated on the same floor.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings for 1-6 days: Reservations may be cancelled up to midnight on the day prior to arrival, otherwise 1 night of accommodation is to be charged.

Bookings for 7-21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 2 days prior to arrival, otherwise 2 nights of accommodation are to be charged.

Bookings longer than 21 days: Reservations may be cancelled 7 days prior to arrival, otherwise 7 nights of accommodation are to be charged.

How to get to the Hotel:

IF YOU ARRIVE BY PLANE OR TRAIN:
You can order a taxi with the help of our Hotel Transfer form. This large airconditioned private taxi takes you straight to the hotel at a fix price. You can also use the Minibus Service at the airport or at the train station. It is a little cheaper but you have to wait for a while to get the right bus and it might go to other hotels before yours.
